Hey Peeps! Amazingly proud of what we achieved at Blur Studio for the Gears of War: E-Day trailer!
I worked on the environments, ensuring everything ran within Unreal Engine 5. Using some of Coalition's assets, we harnessed the power of Nanite and Lumen for the entire show. It was challenging, especially with Blur's new pipeline, but we created something incredible.
It's amazing to see how powerful Unreal Engine 5 has become, it's now closer to V-Ray than ever before.
Combined with good old 3Dsmax/Raiclone for the modeling and Painter for textures. I had the chance to do a lots of final lighting as well, quite happy with the final result.
From animation to look development, everyone did an amazing job. I'm honored to have been part of one of the best franchises ever. Thanks to Blur, the incredible team, Coalition for trusting me with this project.
